This Federal Election is critical for the future of Phillip Island residents. We live in the best part of the best country in the world, but right now we're on the wrong track. Families and businesses I speak to can't afford another three years of an Albanese Labor Government. They can't afford high inflation, expensive groceries and the high cost of fuel. Bulk billing rates have fallen by 11 per cent. We can't afford Labor neglecting Phillip Island and not investing in local services. Only a Coalition Government will get our economy back on track, bring down inflation and invest in local infrastructure.
A Coalition Government will halve the fuel excise for 12 months, inject $900 million into Medicare, restore subsidised mental health sessions back to 20 after Labor cut them and lift the instant asset write off to $30,000. And we'll make it permanent.
I'm a long-term local in the Monash electorate and have a genuine track record of rolling my sleeves up and getting involved. From Lifeline Gippsland to health and aged care, chairing the Gippsland United Basketball League and being the founding CEO of Committee for Gippsland. I'm passionate about backing small business and will fight for the local infrastructure and services we need, like the Phillip Island Recreation Reserve.
I've always believed you can achieve more as part of a team than going it alone. That's why I'm standing as the Liberal Candidate as part of a strong Coalition team. It's why when I asked the Deputy Leader of the Federal Opposition Sussan Ley MP to visit Phillip Island to meet with Silverleaves residents about coastal erosion, visit the RSL and speak with members of Island Voice about a new pool and rec reserve, she didn't hesitate.
I offer real world and up to date business experience, working across the Asia Pacific region in technology and cyber security, and bring a modern, clear eyed view of the challenges Australia faces. For 18 months I have put my best case forward about why I deserve the trust and confidence to be your next federal representative.
I'm asking for your support to deliver locally and contribute nationally to getting our country back on track. I will work my heart out for you to deliver locally.
