The end of term Earn and Learn Market at Cowes Primary School was a resounding success, showcasing the creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit of Grade 6 students.
The market gave students the unique opportunity to apply real-life skills in a hands-on, interactive environment.
For weeks leading up to the event, students were tasked with creating products, setting prices, and developing marketing strategies. Whether it was handmade crafts or baked goods, the variety of goods on offer was impressive.
The school said the market not only highlighted the students' talent and resourcefulness but also provided a chance for them to learn about budgeting, customer service, and the basics of running a small business.
Staff were impressed by the students' professionalism and enthusiasm, as well as their ability to engage with customers and handle transactions.
"We look forward to seeing what next term's market will bring," they said.
