Congratulations to Hans Olierook winner of the Men’s Singles over Russell Taylor.

This week also hosted the return of the Triples Competition, with a full complement of players.

Winners were: B. McGoven, T. McKiernan and G. Cohen. Runners up: W. Parkes, D. Roberts and J. Sutcliffe.

Seven visitors from Torquay were welcomed, they were part of a group travelling our way. It’s good that bowlers are always welcome to participate in these events.

Saturday 2-4-2 winners were Serge Castell and Marlene Puncher. Runners up Reg Excell and Alan Beddows.

Sunday we hosted the quarter finals of the SGBD Men’s Fours, with Five Phillip Island teams represented. Three of them were successful.

The Semi-finals dates to be announced.

The Midweek Pennant Draw has been published now with eight teams in Division 1. Phillip Island has two teams entered.

We will celebrate Christmas with a function on Thursday night. It’s such a welcome event after the year we have endured.
