
Year 9 Teacher Carly Heislers finds the outdoor classes at the Newhaven College Year 9 Environmental Centre brings the best out in her students

2024 Year 12 student Gabe Smith holds the Melbourne Cup during its visit to Newhaven College this year. Gabe was an important member of the College's Equestrian team, and had international success this year in the Mounted Games event in Europe.
Year 9 students Inez Parmington, Claire Van Der Heyden, Keely Filsell and Ayishka Perera embraced the opportunity to go on a hike as part of the Year 9 'Meeting the Mountains' Wollangarra Camp.

Year 7 student, and MTB enthusiast, Kody Lewis loves participating in the mountain biking events held off campus, as well as on the custom made MTB track that located in the College grounds.
Newhaven College prides itself on being "about hands-on sensory learning".

"Sports include House and inter-school competitions, plus out-of-the-box opportunities such as the coveted Surfing Academy, Equestrian Team or the newly minted MTB (Mountain Biking) Academy.
"Some of the College's riders and surfers have achieved extraordinary results in 2024 with National Championship wins in a range of disciplines."
For those inspired by the arts, the school's performing arts wing includes one-on-one lesson spaces, a rehearsal studio, sound rooms, collaboration spaces and a Black Box theatre.

Newhaven College offers a unique learning space at the Year 9 Environmental Centre.
