Last Wednesday, two cars collided near the intersection of Bergin Grove and Phillip Island Road in San Remo just before 3pm.

Emergency services were quickly on the scene, with police directing traffic. There were some delays for traffic coming onto the island.

Paramedics treated people at the scene and one young woman was taken by ambulance to hospital.

On Sunday morning, traffic leaving the island was delayed after two cars collided on the Bass Highway, near the intersection of Woolamai Road. The area was cleared by around 11.30am.
