Strength in numbers: Cardell Accountants welcomes Michaela Salvato

Cardell Accountants is excited to announce that in January 2025, experienced Chartered Accountant, Michaela Salvato has joined the firm as a consultant, bringing with her over 30 years' experience in providing accounting and taxation services to Bass Coast Shire.

Michaela started her career at a "Big 4" accounting firm, before making the move to Phillip Island and working with Stephen Davie in Cowes. In 2002 she established a boutique accounting and financial services firm, based in San Remo, and since then has worked with many small businesses in the region.

Michaela has also worked extensively within the community and not-for-profit area, particularly in the environmental and tourism sectors, with a variety of roles at Bass Coast Landcare Network, Three Creeks Landcare Group, Destination Phillip Island, and most recently as an ongoing board member of the Phillip Island Nature Parks Board of Management Inc.

As a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent, Michaela has a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance, a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning and a Certificate in Governance and Risk Management. Michaela is delighted to join Cardell Accountants who as Chartered Accountants, enjoy a reputation for providing expert taxation and accounting services and advice in the region.

The Cardell Accountants partners - Marcus Bond, Lyndal McKenzie, Jason Kennedy and Zachariah Fowler - are excited to welcome Michaela and her clients to the firm.
