Damien McKenna joined the Newhaven College Board in September 2024.
Newhaven College has welcomed new board member Damien McKenna, a principal lawyer of Duffy & Simon.
"Our College Board comprises members of our local community who each bring high-level professional skills and valuable perspectives", says Chair, David Jobe, welcoming Mr McKenna.
"It is a privilege to be involved with such a group of high-calibre individuals who give so generously of their time."
Mr Jobe said Mr McKenna had provided advice over the years for numerous independent schools, focusing on compliance, contractual and policy advice and guiding them through various legal challenges.
He is also involved in the local community, providing ongoing legal advice to local sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations, and participating on several committees.
Mr McKenna has one child attending the College and another set to enrol in 2025.
