Local students have organised "Act on Climate", a rally on April 26 at the San Remo foreshore at 2pm.

Organiser Joey Thompson said the rally is to "raise awareness about the climate crisis before the election."

"It's so important, now more than ever, that we take strong action on climate."

"Act on Climate" is part of an ongoing series of events under the "Move Beyond Coal" banner, a community movement to stop coal expansion and phase out coal by 2030.
