Services Australia has advised there will be changes to payments and services over April for the Easter holiday period and Anzac Day.

Some customers may be paid early or will need to report on a different day due to the public holidays. 

All service centres and most phone lines will close on Friday April 7, Monday April 10 and Tuesday April 25, due to public holidays. 

Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said customers will continue to be able to access self-service options. 

“Our Express Plus mobile apps, phone self-service lines and online accounts will continue to be available for customers to do business with us,” Mr Jongen said.

“I encourage people to check their reporting dates on our website, through their Centrelink online accounts or via phone self-service so they are aware if these changes affect them.

“Critical Medicare services, such as PBS authorities, organ donor, and claiming Medicare benefits at a doctor’s office will remain available over this period.”
