The Phillip Island Boardriders Club (PIBC) has a new bright new perspective after the installation of their sparkling new windows.

A San Remo, Cowes and Grantville Community Bendigo Bank grant in 2022 assisted the club with the renovation of their clubhouse – in this case, $30 000 towards new windows from Bettsy’s Glass.

“What a magnificent result by a grassroots and vibrant community group, the Phillip Island Boardriders Club,” Chair Peter Paul said.

“The Bendigo Community Banks of San Remo, Cowes and Grantville are proud to be part of their achievements.”

Geoff Russell, spokesperson for the PIBC, said, “on behalf of the Phillip Island Boardriders Club, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Bendigo Community Bank for their generous grant towards replacing the windows at our club rooms”.

“Their support has been invaluable in ensuring the safety and comfort of our members and visitors.

“The new windows not only enhance the aesthetics of our facility but also contribute to creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

“We are truly thankful for Bendigo Community Bank's commitment to our local community.

“This grant has made a significant difference to our club, and we are excited to continue serving our members with improved facilities. Thank you once again for your incredible support."

The local Bendigo Community Banks invest 80 per cent of their profits back into the local communities, supporting groups like the PIBC.
