Bass Coast Shire Council's Economic Development Team is rolling out a month of events designed to give local businesses the tools, insights, and connections they need to keep growing and adapting.

On April 29, the Invest Bass Coast Forum at Silverwater Resort in San Remo from 7am to 9am, features keynote speaker Orlando Harrison and a panel discussion with experts on urban design, tourism, and business development.

On May 1, a workshop focused on Artificial Intelligence will be led by Steve Sammartino, one of Australia's leading futurists and business technologists.

The event runs from 8am to 11am and kicks off at San Remo with a breakfast keynote, followed by a hands-on workshop where you'll learn about AI tools and strategies that can be applied directly to your business.

The final event is a film screening on May 8 at the Union Theatre in Wonthaggi.

"Just a Farmer" is a powerful film about rural resilience and mental health. This film (6pm - 9pm) tackles the important issue of mental health in farming communities and will be followed by a panel discussion. Tickets are $10 and include a light supper.
