The class of 2024 at Bass Coast College is celebrating their VCE results, with 90 per cent of students expected to receive first-round offers on their first three tertiary preferences.

Raphael Spiteri-Stevens was named Dux with an ATAR of 97.85, with eight students receiving results over 90.

Bass Coast College's high achievers included Raphael, along with Tate Rigby, Zac Mabilia, Dillen Andrighetto, Dylan Cleary, Kira Mascaros, Brodie Mitchell, Louisa Poll, Ciara McCraw and Katie Fisher.

Ross Bramley, Wonthaggi Campus Principal, said the school was extremely proud of the students and their achievements over the year.

"In particular, we are proud of our students in excelling in all areas of our school," Mr Bramley said.

"These achievements not only include the wonderful individual ATAR scores our VCE students have achieved but also the excellent achievements our students have recorded in the areas of VCE Vocational Major, Vocational Education and Training studies, music, sport and leadership.

"A huge thank you must go to our students, their parents and carers, our teaching staff and our education support staff.

"It has been the combined efforts of all of these elements of our school community that has, once again created a learning environment at Bass Coast College that has allowed students to explore their passions and has supported their efforts in obtaining this year's results."

Mr Bramley said the Class of 2024 will be long remembered as a "polite, friendly and hard working cohort" and that they will be greatly missed.

"They have been a joy to have at Bass Coast College since they arrived in Year 7 back in 2019.

"We would like to wish them all the best for their future endeavours and encourage them to stay in touch with the school so that we can follow their future successes."

There were 124 students at Bass Coast College who received an ATAR with another 29 students successfully completing a VCE Vocational Major.

The school's median VCE study score was 28, with a median ATAR score of 63.
