Last week, Newhaven Primary school held a 100 days of school party for its prep/one classroom.
The day started with a $100 activity where students wrote and drew about what they would spend their $100 on.
Bodhi wanted to buy and elephant, while Millie wanted to spend hers on getting a butler and Poppy wanted to get a sister!
Then students imagined what they would be like when they turned 100 years old.
Harry thinks he will live in a mansion and drive a Lamborghini and Tilly wants to sit by the fire. Teachers had created photos of each student using the ageing booth app and everyone had a laugh at how they looked.
Parents and caregivers were invited to school and students did rotational activities with their families before a celebratory party lunch was held in the classroom.
Activities included building a pyramid with 100 paper cups, dice games, counting collections of objects and 100 chart puzzles.
It was a great turn out with most students having a visitor from their family come along and students also invited their grade5/6 buddy if they didn’t have a family visitor.
