Bonny Dickie, a fifth-generation islander and patrolling member of the Woolamai Beach Surf Life Saving Club (WBSLSC) of 11 years, was named Victorian Education Instructor of the Year at the Life Saving Victoria Awards of Excellence ceremony on Saturday night.
