Soccer socks up for Orange round

Sunday’s game was the Orange round for the Phillip Island Breakers first home game of the fixtured rounds.
This was to raise awareness for violence against women; all the Island players purchased orange socks to mark the occasion and wore them proudly.
We had a guest speaker Alisha from Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault (GCASA) who spoke about the shocking statistics within the Gippsland region. Money raised from the sock sale is being donated to the GCASA.

Under 14 report

A fantastic turn out for our Breakers Under 14s game against Leongatha at our Orange round home game.

Coach Frank Licciardi was super proud with a winning score of 2 – 0.

Players Jad Ellaz and Jasper Saunders each scored one goal.

Players Ava Liatos, Devlin Rowe and Dylan Gregory were awarded for their amazing efforts in defence, and commendable teamwork.

All in all, the whole team communicated and played extremely well together.
