To kick off Round 1 of the Shannons SpeedSeries, a Track to Town Parade will be held this Thursday giving locals the chance to meet the drivers and get up close to some of the best race cars in the country.
Round 1 of the Shannons SpeedSeries takes to the tarmac at the Phillip Island Circuit this Friday (April 4) for three days of high octane motorsport action.
To kick off the event, a Track to Town Parade will be held on Thursday (April 3) with more than 40 drivers across multiple categories taking to the streets of Phillip Island in their competition cars.
The cars will begin their trek from the Phillip Island Circuit before travelling through Thompson Avenue and down to the Esplanade where they will be parked on display from 12.30pm for locals to enjoy.
This free event is something you don’t want to miss, so take advantage of the opportunity to get up close to some of the best race cars in the country and meet the drivers from the GT World Challenge (Australia), Monochrome GT4s, Porsche Sprint Challenge, Radical Cup and the Ferrari Challenge.
