Following a great season, under 17s girls pulled up to Nar Nar Goon on Saturday after finishing second on the ladder ready to take on a strong Korumburra side.
They started off well with Lily and Meika shooting very accurately.
WA Tilly was creating great drives into the goal third and feeding beautifully into the ring.
The island girls took a one goal lead by half time setting up for a big second half.
The island’s defensive end made it hard for Korumburra's attackers to get the ball easily.
Ruby, Jazzy and Isla were picking off passes left, right and centre as the lead extended out to three goals at three quarter time.
Sophia and Sienna both had a big last quarter, and many intercepts came from the two of them.
Maya was consistent as ever throughout the whole game as the centre and played an impressive game on a very strong Korumburra opponent.
Well done to the girls who came away with a four-goal win and booked themselves a ticket into the Grand final.
