Dalyston courts deliver heartbreak in prelims

B Grade

The Island B Grade girls faced off against Nar Nar Goon in the preliminary final at Dalyston, giving it their all in an intense match.

Although Nar Nar Goon capitalised on a few centre passes to take a four-point lead, the Island girls refused to give up, showcasing their exceptional skills and teamwork.

Despite their best efforts, they couldn't close the gap.

B Grade have had an outstanding season, finishing sixth on the ladder and securing convincing wins against Inverloch and Dalyston, earning them a spot in the prelim.

While they didn't take the win this time, their improvement and growth throughout the season is something to be proud of.

Coach Anna and team manager Amber are thrilled with the team's progress, adaptability and strong bond.

The girls have come a long way since Round 1, and their dedication and sportsmanship have made this a memorable and fun season.

U11s

The Island U11s showed tremendous spirit in their match, though falling short.

Despite the loss, the girls delivered another stellar team performance.

Their dedication throughout the season was exceptional and reaching the prelim finals is a testament to their hard work.

Well done to the young superstars for their incredible effort and sportsmanship.
