The Newhaven Indoor Bowls Club is hosting a membership drive to attract new members to their small group.

The club meets at the Newhaven Community Hall each Tuesday from 1pm - 4pm.

This is a social group of indoor carpet bowlers who have been meeting for many years but now find that numbers need to increase with the aim of providing more social interaction and competition between bowlers.

For those who would like to join but consider themselves to be inexperienced novices, free friendly coaching advice is available in a social atmosphere.

New indoor bowlers are welcome to come along for a meet-and-greet on any Tuesday with the club launching their membership drive on Tuesday February 18 at 1pm.

Attendance on the day is free but bowlers are welcome to come along on any Tuesday.

Regular bowlers pay only a small $5 fee which includes a cup of tea or coffee. There is no age limit and dress is casual with all equipment provided.
