Congratulations to Phillip Island's Scarlett Rennie who took out second place behind top seed, Rose Holland (Mornington Peninsula, VIC), in the Under 14 Girls division.The Victorian Micro Groms Cup presented by Surf Better Now has seen the next generation of surfing stars take on solid surf across the weekend at Torquay.

With a solid swell building throughout the day on Saturday and continuing into Sunday, surfers were treated to 4ft+ surf all weekend with great winds.

The Under 14 Boys saw Hugo Spierings (Bondi, NSW) dominate the final and other event champions on the day included: Estella Carbonelli and Teddy Robertson in the Under 12 Divisions, Olive Robertson (Torquay) in the Under 10 Girls and brothers Sani and Ronnie Hellman (Ulladulla, NSW) in the Under 10 Boys and Under 8 Mixed divisions.
