Alice Martindale, from Cape Woolamai, came 12th in high jump and 15th in the 400-metre, in the Under 10 events
Ella Smith, from Wonthaggi, came 18th in Javelin and 19th in Shot Put in the Under 16 age group.
Under 15 competitor Lara Smyth, came 5th in the 1500 metre event with a with 13 second personal best, and also setting a new club record for the race.
Savannah O’Keeffe, from Wonthaggi, placed 17th in the Under 14 Long Jump.
Four female members of the Wonthaggi Little Athletics proudly represented their club at the Victorian State Championships held recently at Lakeside track in Albert Park.
The girls performed exceptionally well and had a wonderful experience competing against competitors from all over the state.
