With such good waves on offer, the quality of surfing was lifted as all teams put on a great show for the crowd down at the beach and also for those watching the live-stream on mySURFtv s YouTube channel and Kayo Sports.

In the first semifinal matchup, Torquay Boardriders Club took on Jan Juc.

Torquay Boardriders Club set the record for the highest-scoring team heat total at a Victorian Australian Boardriders Battle, an amazing 46.55 combined points, on the back of an incredible performance by Xavier Huxtable, which earned him the Oakley Prism Performance Award.
