Cowes resident Doug Collins is just one fateful swing away from clocking his 100th hole-in-one on the Red Rocks Golf Course.
It's taken 17 years, but Cowes resident Doug Collins is just one fateful swing away from clocking his 100th hole-in-one on the Red Rocks Golf Course.
Doug has been playing at the Red Rocks course since its inception and is part of a group that "affectionately" call themselves the Blind Squirrels.
"Because even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again," laughed Doug.
Doug said he has played golf on and off his whole life, originally playing as kid with his dad.
"Then I took up surfing. That killed the golf," Doug said.
And what's to ensue when 'Dougie' slots his hundredth?
"Oh yeah, a big party definitely."
