In pouring rain, the Under 17s narrowly took the win in a nail-biting, goal to goal game against Dalyston during the Grand Final with the final scores at 33-31. The U17s made history by being the first U17s Island Netball team to win the Grand Final. Lily Mewett was awarded Best on Court in the Under 17s after playing a fantastic match.
The Under 17 girls all played the match of their lives and were victorious against Dalyston 33-31, with Best on Court awarded to Lily Mewitt.
A fantastic effort from all the players.
The entire game went goal for goal, but somehow the Island managed to stay focused and take the win against Dalyston.
