Come and try twilight pickleball

The Rhyll Tennis Club is excited to begin the new year with a new game by introducing pickleball - a fun, social and friendly game which suits the club's hard courts.

New members and players are invited to keep the courts busy and the club active.

Bass Coast Shire Council's Quick Response Grants provided the Rhyll Tennis Club funds needed to purchase new equipment.

Paddles and balls can be hired at the Rhyll General Store upon collecting keys to the court (the two courts can be booked by calling 03 5907 6796).

Additionally, memberships are available for avid and frequent players, or the court can be hired for $15 per hour.

Typically, four players get together for a game of pickleball.

The rules are simple and is an easy challenge for beginners, but can develop into a fast paced, competitive sport.

Thus far there is plenty of interest from those who play at the Cowes Leisure Centre.

Many attended the club's recent open day and enjoy what the Rhyll Tennis Club has to offer.

They also have knowledge and experience to pass onto those who are new to the game.

Come along and join the fun at the Rhyll Twilight Market on January 17.

Courts will be available for the club's free open evening from 4pm - 6pm. For further information contact Mandy on 0409 186 521.
