Bass Coast Shire Council is asking for input into a new public art strategy, with a survey now online on the Engage Bass Coast website.
An in-person consultation session was also held at Berninneit on Tuesday.
The new public art strategy will cover the next 10 years, so if you have thoughts or ideas about how public art is best used across the island and the shire, now is the time to have your say.
"Public Art can be created in many different forms to be visually and physically accessible to the public, to enhance community connection to a place or site," council stated.
"Public Art is proven to enhance the aesthetic appeal of public spaces, provides a gathering point for communities, and offers sustained employment and professional growth for local artists.
"The vision for the new Public Art Strategy 2025-2035 is to foster creativity, cultural expression, and community engagement through impactful and diverse public art commissions.
"Our goal is to embrace new approaches that empower artists and community stakeholders, encourage experimentation and challenge conventional boundaries which lead to the creation of dynamic and thought-provoking public art experiences."
There were three in person sessions held during March, with the final session on March 16 at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre from 2.30pm - 6pm.
The online survey is open until March 16.
