Boaties were bemused by this sign at the newly-opened Rhyll boat ramp recently. “Excuse me, what water restrictions,” asked Vanna on social media, with Candowie Reservoir 100 per cent full. “Are they joking?” Bass Coast Shire last week confirmed the sign was old and would be removed. Boaties, though, suggested the washdown area at the ramp would add to congestion and it was “better to flush and wash at home”.
