The Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association is holding a Christmas Walk for people and pooches on November 26.

This is the association’s inaugural Christmas Walk and dogs and their owners are invited to meet at 10am at the Cowes Yacht Club.

The group will then walk to the Anderson boat ramp and back – but you can walk as much, or as little as you like.

Dress your dog and kids (and yourself) in Christmas outfits to win some prizes.

Get into the spirit of the festive season and have some fun with the local dog community.

“Come and show our community that dogs have an important place on our beaches,” an association spokesperson said.
