“Last year’s event was cancelled because of Covid, so let’s make 2021 an even bigger event,” says Craig Edmond of Jim’s Bait and Tackle at San Remo.

He’s referring to San Remo’s annual Easter Fishing competition, which is offering over $8000 worth of great prizes. This year’s sponsors have gone over and above to make this competition the best one yet!

There’s plenty of family fun for everyone, and all money raised goes to the Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

“Get your friends and family together and come win some great gear, catch fish and raise money for the kids,” is Craig’s message to the district’s anglers.

All entries go into a draw to win a helicopter ride! And everyone who entered before March 26 is in with a chance to win a $100 restaurant voucher for Silverwater Resort.

Wednesday and Thursday will see a couple of regular Jim’s Bait and Tackle Facebook auctions. Whatever the auctions make on these nights will be added to the total from the entries and donated to the Good Friday appeal.
