The Rotary Club of Phillip Island and San Remo is delighted to be assisting Woolamai Surf Life Saving Club by holding their annual market for the San Remo Channel Challenge event.

“The market has always been an attraction especially for the grateful competitors many of whom will be arriving at 8am to register, no doubt bringing healthy appetites,” Rotary President Peter Buitenhuis remarked.

This year the Girl Guides will be supplying bacon and egg rolls for breakfast as well as BBQ items for lunch. Milk Shakes from Gippsland Jersey will also be a winner together with a variety of food stalls.

The race starting at 11am will mean it’s an early setup for market vendors but sure to appeal to the wider public.

The Rotary Club donates all proceeds from the market to the Woolamai Surf Life Saving Club.
