On Sunday August 18 at 10am, the Red Rocks and Saltwater Coastcare group has organised a planting day at Red Rocks.

The group has organised 120 plants for infill planting in the dunes.

A spokesperson for the group said the plants needed to be planted "during winter to give them their best chance to survive and thrive and thus help stabilise the dunes".

All volunteers are welcome.

The planting day runs from 10am - 12noon. Please meet at the Red Rocks carpark.

What to bring: water bottle, mug for a hot drink at morning tea and gloves (optional) - gloves will be supplied.

Anyone who can assist with the preparation and set up for the planting day can meet at the Red Rocks car park at 2pm on Saturday, to set out the plants and guards, ready for the Sunday.
