1 min read

PICAL has released its Course Guide for Term 4 with an interesting and varied range of courses on offer.

Course will be run in the following areas: hospitality, digital, support and community living.

A highlight of the Term 4 Course Guide is the Cetacean Sisters Workshop, an engaging course tailored specifically for secondary school girls interested in marine science.

The course is led by Dr Sue Mason, an experienced female cetacean scientist and teacher.  Sue invites "your daughter to a unique and inspiring series of five, two hour workshops dedicated to advancing her scientific skills and knowledge of cetaceans (whales and dolphins)".

Bookings can be made via the links on the PICAL course flyer at www.pical.org.au or at events.humanitix.com/cetacean-sisters-workshop-sept-2024-phillip-island

Course enquiries to Sue on info@cetaceanscience.com.au or 0438 399 676.

The workshop will be run from Monday September 23, first week of the school holidays.

If you're looking to connect with your community PICAL offers ten different community group options including spinning, crafting, caring, women, cooking, growing, walking, language and mature age. All are listed in the PICAL course guide and most are free.
