PICAL Term 3 Course Guide released

PICAL has announced its term three program with a variety of courses on offer in hospitality, digital support and community living.

"This term we wanted to highlight our English as a Second Language (ESL) course," said centre manager David Rooks.

"It's a fun class where you can meet other students and practice your English and conversations skills, in a friendly relaxed environment. The lessons are supported by a qualified enthusiastic teacher."

Each lesson provides positive speaking, listening, language structure and writing experiences. Lots of fun and games to be experienced at ESL PICAL.

Also, new at PICAL is the introduction of a digital literacy skills checklist as part of the pre-assessment process for its digital courses.

"By completing the checklist it helps our digital trainers Diana, Pepi and William match you up with the most suitable course for you," David explained.

The digital checklist is for anyone to do. Forms can be picked up at reception, Centrelink or completed online.

Finally, if you're looking to connect with your community PICAL offers nine different community group options including spinning, crafting, caring, women, cooking, growing, walking, language and mature age. All are listed on the term three course guide and most are free.

For all term three course enquiries and bookings go to www.pical.org.au or contact PICAL reception on 03 5952 1131.
