Her. presents inaugural IWD event

The inaugural her. International Women’s Day event was held at Clay and Co. on March 8.

The tone for the day was warm and intimate, welcoming unity, togetherness and support.

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was diversity, equality and breaking the bias.

Guest speakers Alexis Guttridge, Crystal-Jae Harrison, Nartarsha Napanagka Bamblett and Bree Tiana shed light on our First Nations culture, paying respects to cultural diversity and equality as well as sharing their personal stories on trauma, survival and growth.

“Wednesday was a dream come true; the unity empowers people and the story telling was transformational,” said Crystal-Jae Harrison, Founding Director of her. skin and day spa.

Guests wore white to pay homage to Samantha Fraser, who tragically lost her life in 2018. White represents feminine energy. Purity + Peace.

All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Change for Sam.
