At last count Phillip Island’s visitors annually number more than two million, while the population is 12,550, with an additional 10,000 residents expected in Bass Coast in the next 14 years. So, given this squeeze, the Advertiser asked all major utilities and government departments to explain how they are preparing for population growth on Phillip Island and San Remo.
