In the first meeting of the new Bass Coast Shire Council, Cr Rochelle Halstead has been unanimously voted Mayor, unopposed.

Cr Brett Tessari was the only person nominated for deputy.

Cr Ronnie Bauer seconded Cr Halstead's position and said he was confident the team would work together.
