Volunteers at last year's Garage Sale Trail got into the Easter Spirit. This year's trail is on Saturday, April 19, with trail maps available from the Rhyll Hall from 9am.
On Easter Saturday April 19, Rhyll will be a hive of activity as the Rhyll Community Garage Sale Trail once again takes place.
The Garage Sale Trail event, held every second year, provides a fantastic opportunity for locals to declutter their homes by selling items they no longer need. And it's a treasure trove for bargain hunters.
Starting at 9am on Easter Saturday, visitors can pick up free maps of participating households from the Rhyll Hall, making it easy to navigate the trail and uncover hidden treasures. The maps describe a sample of what each garage sale has on offer.
"We have both avid treasure hunters and people just looking for unique finds," remarked Jim Kiley, president of the Rhyll Community Association who organise the event.
"Having a Garage Sale Trail allows people to check out any numbers of sales on the same day. And anybody who has held a garage sale knows how the ultra-early birds roll up before day breaks, which is behind the reason we distribute maps after 9am."
The Garage Sale Trail not only supports community spirit by encouraging recycling and reusing but also fosters connections among residents.
Some residents join together to sell their stock, while others offer morning and afternoon teas to the public.
For any inquiries, please contact Jim Kiley on 0428 322392, who will be happy to assist.
