FOSER planting morning moves
1 min read

The annual planting morning for Friends of Scenic Estate Reserve planned for July 7 has been moved to Sunday, August 4.

Organisers said the event was postponed for several reasons, including the dry conditions making the ground very hard and dry, "making planting difficult and less likely to be successful".

They also invited the FOSER members to attend a talk by tree expert Dr Greg Moore OAM at the Phillip Island Conservation Society (PICS) meeting on July 7, starting at 2pm.

According to his University of Melbourne profile, apart from a general interest in horticultural plant science, revegetation and ecology, Dr Moore has a "specific interest in all aspects of arboriculture, which is the scientific study of the cultivation and management of trees".
