Election Feature: Alex Wehbe - Trumpet of Patriots

As someone born and raised in Victoria, I am committed to standing by our policies and restoring our country to the greatness it once had. A key priority is bringing Australian manufacturing back.

Australia is rich in natural resources, yet we sell our iron ore at hundreds of dollars per tonne, only to see it return as steel costing thousands more. This needs to change.

We will ensure the government is run efficiently. Right now, wasteful spending is driving up prices year after year. We need to cut that waste and reinvest those savings back into our country. By imposing a 15 per cent licence fee on iron ore, we can eliminate the government's trillion-dollar debt and free Australians from that generational burden.

We also believe in reducing immigration to sustainable levels and prioritising the needs of Australian citizens. We propose allowing Australians to access 30 per cent of their superannuation for a house deposit and capping interest rates at three per cent. We shouldn't need to be "welcomed" to our own country, and we firmly believe that the woke agenda has no place in our schools. Education should focus on the basics - reading, writing, and arithmetic - not ideological influence.

We acknowledge only two genders - male and female - and aim to remove political correctness from the classroom. Additionally, we plan to develop high-speed rail networks to connect satellite cities within 120km of major CBDs, providing affordable housing and drastically reducing commuting times.

Our vision is simple: to Make Australia Great Again, as it was for me when I was growing up.
