September saw the final installation of structural steel to the cultural centre’s theatre area. According to the shire the centre is set to be finished in 2023, but no month is specified. Councillors at the September meeting held a confidential vote on the centre, closed to the public, with speculation there has been a further cost blowout or time delay.
