Over 100 people rallied in Inverloch on Easter Saturday to support action on climate change.
Organised by the Bass Coast Climate Action Network, a spokesperson said the rally called on voters in the Monash electorate to make their vote count.
Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Michael Whelan and former CSIRO climate scientist Michael Borgas addressed the crowd.
Spotted in the crowd were candidates for the upcoming election including independents, the Greens and Labor, although not Federal Member Russell Broadbent.
