Bass Coast Shire Council is hosting a free online info session on Wednesday January 22, 6pm -6.30pm about the South Coast Community Leadership program.

The online session will cover the program's structure, application tips, and participants will be able to ask questions.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to explore how this program will empower 26 lucky participants in South Gippsland and Bass Coast through impactful capacity-building sessions," said a council spokesperson.

The 2025 South Coast Community Leadership Program is a free and exciting six-month course designed to help participants build their leadership skills, explore new ways of leading and connect with other like-minded local people.

The program will run from Saturday, March 15 until Sunday, August 10 and consist of professionally facilitated workshops to be held in towns in the two shires.

Applications close February 2, 2025 so it's crunch time for anyone needing guidance.
