Close to death, Jacob now saves lives

Phillip Island’s Jacob Fry can’t exactly be sure how many lives he has helped save.
But since he came close to death in a head-on car accident on the Phillip Island Road – revived only by being given massive quantities of blood - the 33-year-old has gone on to be one of Victoria’s most generous blood donors, and also a rare plasma donor, saving the lives of pregnant women and babies.
