Big Freeze at San Remo

This Sunday June 9, the San Remo Hotel is hosting its Big Freeze event, raising money to help fight Motor Neuron Disease (MND).

The fun kicks off at 2pm and includes an ice bath, as well as raffles and an auction, with Big Freeze merchandise for sale. Live music starts at 6pm.

Last year's event raised over $15,000 for the Fight MND charity co-founded by AFL great Neale Daniher who is battling the disease, and the organisers are hoping to beat that total.

At the San Remo event, a range of locals have volunteered to be dunked to help raise funds. The list is added to with daily announcements on the hotel's social media.
