The Supreme Court trial for alleged murderer Adrian Basham is set to start on March 7, with pre-trial arguments beginning this week.
The trial has been delayed several times and is expected to run for two months.
Adrian James Basham pleaded not guilty at a committal hearing in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court in October 2019, after being committed to stand trial over the death of his estranged wife Samantha Fraser.
Mr Basham is accused of killing the mother of their three children, Samantha Fraser, 38, at her Cowes home on July 23, 2018.
