A slithery snarl of snakes
1 min read

Avert your eyes if you aren’t the David Attenborough type with a love of the natural world.

Ventnor’s Nigel Hungerford was walking the path between Berrys Beach and Pyramid Rock last week when he came across this tangle of serpents.

“Mating copperheads perhaps,” suggested Nigel, although at times it looked like the wriggling creatures were making war not love.

Either way they were more interested in each other than him, which is the best approach to any snake.
