The girls went into the game with confidence and started the first quarter off with a bang.

Goal for goal, and smooth playing across the court in the first half.

The super fit mid court Lilly, Teash and Abbey had accurate passes and moved so well around the extremely wet court.

The goalers, Meika and Grace moved well and had a tough gig against the Bunyip defence, but the girls fought hard in the wind and rain to score goals, against the elements.

Bunyip were strong and moved so well, but that didn’t stop our defending superstars Karina, Casey, Hayley and Tay from getting the turn overs.

The team unfortunately lost 41-12, but that doesn’t represent just how hard the girls fought till the end.

Teamwork and second efforts were shown on the court, and the girls should all be so proud.
