Take a dip at Archies Creek
1 min read

Archies Creek Arts announces Bathing in the Creek, a local music festival on April 5.

Don't take the title literally, but it is a chance to immerse yourself in some quality live performances.

Fergus Lawson and Nova Jenner, local folk with their fingers on the pulse, have put this fun festival together.

On Saturday April 5, Sunshine, Velvet Bloom, Quality Used Cars, Queenie, Doe Street, Names and Bookrunner will play in the great outdoors at the Archies Creek Hotel.

The day will close out with the house beats of DJ Sunshine.

Anyone who attended Brian's Big BBQ gig last December will remember Queenie, who knocked the crowd off their seats.

A spokesperson for the Archies Creek Arts said Bathing in the Creek was a perfect opportunity to enjoy some new and up and coming acts and promised "an unforgettable afternoon".

Doors open at 1.30pm, with music starting from 2pm.

There are also buses running from Inverloch and Cowes, for those who'd like to enjoy a drink or two at the show and travel home safely.

Buses depart Cowes Transit Centre at 12.45pm, with stops at Cape Woolamai, San Remo, Kilcunda and Powlett River. There are two return buses departing Archies Creek for Cowes at 7.15pm and 9.45pm.

You can book tickets, and a seat on the bus at: www.archiescreekhotel.com.au/events/bathing-in-the-creek-festival

Free entry for children under 12, with a great backyard for kids to run around in.
