Round 1 of the Shannons SpeedSeries takes to the tarmac at the Phillip Island Circuit this Friday for three days of high octane motorsport action. 

To kick off the event, a Track to Town Parade is on in Cowes today (Thursday April 3) with more than 40 drivers across multiple categories in their competition cars.

The cars travelled through Thompson Avenue and down to the Esplanade where they are parked on display for locals to enjoy. This free event is an opportunity to get up close to some of the best race cars in the country and meet the drivers!
