With just over a week to go, 11-year-old Amy Hodson looks set to reach her target of swimming 30 kilometres to raise money for the Starlight Foundation Super Swim Challenge.
As of Tuesday, she was at 22.3kms, with a week left to chase down the remaining kilometres.
Her fundraising efforts are on track as well, having raised over $5,500 – more than twice her original goal of $2000.
Amy hopes to beat last year’s fundraising effort, where she swam 25kms and raised over $10,000.
She has been in the pool every day since February 4, and plans to keep swimming each day until February 29.
